First came the discovery I needed help, serious help. So my journey is starting at the very beginning, my decision to pursue the Lap-Band surgery. To get you up to date on what has happened so far...
04/09/10 - Went online and signed up for the Lap-Band Seminar (required to attend)
05/18/10 - Attended the Lap-Band Seminar - first step required - doctor referral
05/21/10 - Doctors Visit to get referral to Bariatric Surgeon
05/27/10 - Turned in all necessary paperwork to the surgeons office (it was a lot needed, including 3 letters of support and one from myself)
06/02/10 - Recv'd email from surgeons office stating my first appointment is going to be on 06/30/10 (YEAH)
06/17/10 - Attended a monthly bariatric surgery group meeting. Very interesting stories. I learned a lot. My mom and sister went with me. My sister said she would go with me to any future meetings I attend.
There will be more, I just wanted to get my blog up and running.
